the other day i was goin to wash my car when i saw these 3 cocky guys at the car wash, they came up and asked me if i wanted to runem and after a sec i agreed one was in a anniversery camaro (white with orange stripes) he had tb,intake,chip,shift kit(auto),headers,x-pipe. The other had a 94 camaro with k&n an flows, and a 125 shot. The other guy had a 95 cobra with intake and flows. I have a 97 cobra with k&n and flows so i figured i would loose 2 of the three. Sure enough the first one beat me by about a half car twice. Then i beat the cobra by about 3 or 4 cars. But my biggest suprize i beat the other camaro with the 125 shot 1 out of 3 times and the third time it was dead even. Now i know my car is not that fast cause i get beat alot. So can someone tell me what is wrong with that camaro i watched him race the other cobra and blue flames shot out the tail pipes when he changed gears is that normal? sorry for the long post.

he may be a bad driver. I shot blue flames before. It is not good. In my situation, I was racing a ricer and dumped the clutch THEN floored it. I had a moment between the two that all I can think of is that I was loading fuel into the engine too fast. I took off and beat it by a couple car lengths. It can be cool to see cause a stang behind me told me but it will ruin your cylinders and engine after many times.

 

whiche anniversary cammaro. If it was a 25th, RS, they are slow as hell. (White w/red stripes...)

 

i dont know what year but it was like the 95 or 96 body styles but he had some work done to it it was pretty quick but did not impress me considering my car is stock

 

yes his tank was empty? he didnt spray? cuz he woulda smoked you fer sure. or maybe he is a bad driver?? lol

 

you can add stripes to any car. If it's real is a 97. no biggie. Still just a 14 flat is car stock. depending on the specs of all his mods he is probably only running around 13.5 ish. WHen will people learn to leave there throttle bodys alone unless they are running a head/cam package or stroked?
