Default Lightning encounter

I was coming home from eating one night(about 12pm) and i'm going down a back road that leads to the main 4 lane highway. The whole way there issomething behind tailgating me. Wasn't sure what it was just noticed the headlights were really high, thought i was some kind of SUV or truck..Anyways after a few minutes of this i start getting really annoyed so i dropped to about 10MPH below the speed limit. Finally i get to the 4 lane highway and make my left turn. THere was a couple of cars in the right lane so i take the left. He's still ridin my tail. Finally i decide to just open her up and get out of this things way. i'm doin about 45 and drop it to second and floor it up to about 70 and shift to third. About that time i look in the mirror And the stupid thing is stillthere! Closer to my bumper than before. He starts getting over and coming up beside me(Still WOT) i was like what the heck is this thing. Then i hear the WHINE coming up. I was like ohcrap, lightning. Sure enough this nice looking charcoal lightning flies by me. We played around a little after, waved and went our seperate ways. I got smoked but it was still fun.

They are fast trucks. They are a good match against the Dodge Ram SRT. Against stangs, they can roll if not beat an SN95, and hang with an S197.

Ya they can definitely beat a SN95. My friendjust got an 03lightning.He raced another one of my friend's 07 GT 5spd. They raced 5 or 6 times. The gt won everytime but only by about a half a car.

Yeah I am used to a dfiferent kind of top end...my poor LT1 was barely a dead heat *usually had extremely close races with me losing from digs* so I used to pick on them at higher speeds so I could win. LOL
