i was next to my friend in his starion, who was next to a girl i know in one of the newer bmw's, i think its like an 01+, vert

anyways, i took off hard, and got to about 3rd gear, look over, and shes catchin up, i obviously pwnt her on the takeoff, but goddamn, what do those things have?


i still think my cars not running to its full potential tho it seems like it just falls flat around 3k, and third gear, i need to get it dyno tuned.

 

oh yeah, the starion got pwnt, im not sure if he didnt take off hard (sister in the car) or his car is just bad out of the hole

 

do you know how vague this is?

since I'm bored I will spend some time and sum each letterbox seriespackage up... and it's bimmer not beamer [8D]

as a follow up if I had to take a wild guessit was prolly a 330i or a 540i...

not to be an *** but theres ALOT of sedans out there that will catch you after a launchwith that 89MPH trap speed

 

I agree. My truck ran 88 mph traps with just an exhaust and drop in filter. 00-04 323 & 325's are dogs. 330's are fast!

 

not really all that fast... drivers race with my lincoln.... 335i's are the jumpin jack flash 3 series, LS1 times in that car

 

i searched and i found what it looked like, and it was a 3 series, so im guessing the 330i, they have the same rated hp, but probably alot less torque,which would explain my pwnage on takeoff and her catching up


my guess is also that, i need to learn to shift faster, because we were even (meaning i was a little ahead, we were accelerating about the same) but she would gain a bit when i shifted, BTW, i shut off pretty early, going down a hill that had a nice little curve halfway through, but yeah..

my guess is the 2001 330i vert ish thing

 

oh yeah, i also forgot to mention that after i started to slow down, one of the brand new beamers (keep in mind, my school is a bunch of rich ****tards whos daddies will buy them any car that they fancy, thats what happens when you go to a school on the outskirts of like the second richest county in the U.S. [Rancho Santa Fe]) came and did a ricer flyby (he was like 3 cars behind at the light, i guess he wanted some, but i probably would have gotten ****-slapped.

and the starion did a flyby too, i just laughed, because i was slowing down, had to make a left at the next light

 

Those 335's make peak torque at like 1,500rpm. Those 2 tiny turbos spool up FAST. Talk about a flat power curve

 

it wasnt a TT, it was the 95-05 330i
