So my buddy finaly bought a replacment for his four door 2003 G35 that his girl total. The new G35 6M/T. First thing on his list of things to do is take down THE GT.

So we work together and live right by each other so everyday on our way to work he allways flies by me and I let him not wanting to get a ticket. After three days of having him tell everyone at work he beats me there I tell him it's on after work. We get out at like 9pm and tell him to follow me out to a strip. It's one lane each way, but no one's ever out there and you can see for a mile each way. We line up and I tell him we'll go to 100mph. The first time I get like 4 car's on him by 3rd. The second time we go I've got like 3 car's midway through 2nd.

We both know that his car's faster so the only thing to say is that I'm a better driver. This has also stoped all those morning fly byes

 

Congrats on showing him how to drive . I've wondered how those cars perform..

 

They should be pretty even with the 99-04 GTs, so yeah... he can't drive. Let him get used to that 6 speed first.

He shouldnt have challanged him if he didnt know what he was doing. Personally I can step into any car and drive it with perfection by the time im in 5th gear. What year GT do you have?

That G is like 298 hp or something isn't it? Did he get the coupe or the 4 door?

 

The new G will be 295, the current coupes are 280, 7 hp shy of the 350Z.
