So the story behind this car is that the guy who owns it knows a chevy executive. The C5-R is a "Race Ready" corvette with big breaks, worked over engine and suspension etc. etc. This guy rebuilt the motor and stroked it to 441 CI. It puts out 600+ hp on the motor. He put carbon fiber body all around and did some weight removable I beleive. The shop is currently working on installing a N2O system that is direct port and is made to turn on over 100 mph. Is has twin bottle in the back with warmers and automatic openers. Machine gun type purging out the vent behind the front wheel wells with blue lights.

It's a pretty nice ride. Sorry for the crappy pic but it was on the lift and they were working on it.

I would think so. From ground level it is a very seductive and sexy car. Very clean. He's got DOT road race type slicks on all 4 corners.

C5R is the code name for the corvette factory race car. That is just a c5 z06 with tires, wheels, brakes, and a wing. It looks like a killer.A c5ris also a 427ci if I am not wrong.

Probably exactly right on. But it is stroked to 441 ci. I have no idea what else was done to it. The guy is spending a large amount ofm oney on the car. It will already go over 200 mph. They say he just wants to get there faster. That's crazy, fast not fun fast. IMO

the c5r is a LM road car. They were just handpicked from Bowling Green by GM Performance.
