Cutlass ...bwhahahaha
So last night the gf and I roll over to the city to get a thermocoupler for our boiler. As we were heading up the main drag I managed to catch one of the last lights in a 20mph zone just before the speed limit jumps again to 35mph. As I was sitting there I hear heavy bass getting louder and notice this mid 90s cutlass 4 door cruise up next to me. Terrible 13 inch rims sticking out past the fenders, the paint, etc.... It fits a stereotype to the tee (but I will leave that one alone)... The light turns green and I hear tires squealing... Thug life next to me starts pulling away from me and i slowly make my way thru first gear and go to 2nd (in no hurry)...the GF gets sick of hearing his exhaust and says "just get past this moron".... that's all I needed to hear. He was caught behind another car in his lane and mine was free and clear so I just left it in 2nd around 20mph and rolled into it... as I pass him I hear his exhaust and engine making all kinds of noise and when I glance in my mirror I see him pull out and try to follow me. I managed to stick a city block between us before I topped 2nd so I let off and went to 5th. Guy must have realized he had no chance in hell because he never came back up to me after that. HAHA...what a tool. I almost felt bad but then I realized some of these guys need a little reality in their lives. [8D]
Some day I will get to race something worthy of posting about... this place is horrible this time of year...my buddy put away his lambos and F430 for the winter so I don't even have those to beat me up. I see C6s infrequently but no one runs them.... I miss the old days.

I used to have a 94 Cutlass Supreme. Mine was a 2door though. Those cars are slower than hell. I did however edge out an SN95 6cylinder auto. LOL. I felt like a badass, barely edging out a solid low 17 second car.
Mine was mostly dedicated to it's stereo though. A couple of Massive RW12's and a Concept 600w amp made that car shake very well.

I used to have a 94 Cutlass Supreme SL and was only a 1 car down at 60mph from a dig to a 94 Mustang GT Auto Vert on 3 different attempts... LMAO... I thought the guy was going to hang himself. They are definately turds.

The 94 Auto Vert was known as the slowest mustang ever...I believe they ran upper 15s with almost no MPH... I was a stoplight warrior back then and had no problem getting off the line smooth (not enough trq in the cutlass to cause trq steer)... I would pull ahead off the line and it would take him everything to start pulling past me... It it was a head to head (both with good launches) I know he would have walked me by another car or so...but it just didn't work out for him.

I would never go back to the Cutlass... Actually I couldn't even stand a G6 3.5L after the LT1 addiction I had.... took an LS1 to even get over that.... I can't see me going 'back' again.
