So Im cruising through Thousand Oaks, heading toward the freeway, and theres a new charger, hemi, NOT SRT. And the guy is driving like an ***. The traffic is pretty congested and the limit is 45. Hes weaving in and out like a douche and still getting stopped at all the same lights. Finally, hes in the left and Im in the right at a red. I look over and catch him looking at my car, hes about 22, white skinny sponsored-by-daddy. He looks away and guns it from the light and cuts me off WAYY tooo closely. So now Im pissed. He turns my way toward the fwy, still just in front of me. The left arrow is green as we approach the turn to the 2 lane onramp. He decided that he didnt like how close I was following him after he cut me off, and he squirted me with his windshield spray. F that. As we turn, I hear him let into the throttle, and I hit it in 2nd. With a little wheelspin, I kept with him until I hit 3rd, at what time I walked him and got in front of him just as the lanes converged. After we got on the fwy, he tried to pass me once again driving like an ***, but failed and eventually hung back. He learned his place. Not the best story, but hey, I felt like it was a good kill, considering it was new and rated at what? 340 hp?

Seems like a really immature driver to say the least. Way to represent the SN-95's . The Charger RT's are decently quick, but theylack a strong aftermarket following. For example, they are geared ~3.07 from the factory with an open diff, but to my knowledge they don't have any aftermakert geraring options, and a posi for that rearend cost a grand. They are limited,for the most part, to cat backs, CAI, and programmers/chips.

 

Yeah from what I could tell this one only had mufflers... but idk. I think it would have done better with anything else. I was very happy with my car, seeing as how its really just got full boltons and exhaust. But that is changing

 

What r u pushin hp wise? If I can read right, that's a 5.0 and bolt-ons work amazingly well on 5.0's. If uwant more power, look into heads/cam/intake, especially if u can install them. Stock 5.0's get bumped up to300-310rwhp(340-350crank hp andtorque goes to over 400)with this combo that costsabout $3k. Get some bigger injectors if u don't already have them. Nice kill!

 

Wellidk actual numbers, but I have basically everything done to it withoutripping the engine apart. Actually right now Im putting together a h/c/i package with GT40 heads+rollerrockers with a trickflow intake and e303 cam. Just a little something, nice and inexpensive.
