Very true which is why i dont ever let myself get more then one car length away. I may be young but i drove with a HP crazed father that showed me some crazy sh*t. I never put myself at risk if i so much as think im going to be in trouble i just stop what ever im doing. I know im young and my username makes every question i ask seem like its coming from iresponsiblity but im just curious. To sit there being older then me and honestly say you DONT race yourself is a little hard to belive, seriously never taken someone on the high way b4? i dont do it all the time but i do it and i try to be safe. I really am starting to think my age affects the anserews i get around here and everyone thinks im just some hp crazed teen. but what ever i asked a question out of curiousty and got repremandings like i was asking how i can put everyones life at risk. I dont even get close to the car in front of me that slows down, i go into neutral and shut it down and go back into 2nd. Like i said, youve all done this before and dont sit and say you havent.

Ya ive been in a few races but i didnt have to slow down for the car in front of me. THe only lives at risk are my own and the guy racing me. Ive had my car for almost a year i think ive been in about 10 races so i VERY rarly see any action. I mostly have fun cruising and finding an open road to oen her up.

Street racing is inconclusive at best. There really is no winner. You could win to a car 4 seconds faster then you because of traction. You could hit a cow and die there by losing. You could hit a house and claim it slowed you down and you deserved to win... The only way to really Kill anything (except cows) is to race at the track...

*disclaimer* I'm not saying street racing is the devil, it's just kind of pointless.

The frightning thing is i kinda get a rush from that. The whole "anything goes" rules appeal to me, but i know better then to let that get the better of me. I didnt mean to seem to take it personal its just ive been getting a lot of wise cracks instead of anserews around here, but what forum doens tdo that?

When street racing go till you want to stop, if your in the lead tap your breaks so the other racer knows your done. If your behind, you don't have much to lose so just back off the throttle. Being in front of the other racer when you stop racing constitutes a kill (with a few exceptions, such as a AWD car dumping the clutch at 6k RPM's and claiming a kill on a mustang 20 ft later). If your running up on traffic and you have to let off, but you were in front of the other guy before you started letting off you "killed" them.

Whenever you ask questions about street racing you'll get the hecklers, because it is dangerouse. And as for the age thing, I'm 18 and own a Mach 1 which is faster than your car stock, so I don't think that's why everyone is making wisecrack's .

Really? Go and change your name to mach 1 owner at 18 and see what type of responses you get. CHeck my other posts around this forum, one guy even said they were all going to hard on me. I really could care less but i think its kinda wack. so many people have pmed me telling me there 19 or 18 too and i see them ask questions and they get such wonderful anserews with hyper links. I ask a question and get repremanded then someone who actually looks past my age gives me a hyperlink or an anserew. Im not one to feel like im being singled out ever but here i really do. Are you all that worried im going to pull ricer moves on a cobra or something? As far as my history with cars forget history its in my blood. My dad and is brother were drag racing (offically) since before the first mustang was built and before christ was born. OK not that long but you get the idea. If i still talked to them id probally still be posting here but anserewing questions instead. WHat do you know about pulling 650 HP out of 289 chebby SB with no turbos or SC and running 9 seconds flat. (que the "this is a ford forum why would i care about chebby replies). Ask my uncle who did that very same thing. Im not trying to brag (at such a young age with such a car i must be right? assclowns...) im just saying, i know some ****, but not all.
And thank you for FINALLY ansewring my question and what aq surprise it was a young guy.

I'm 18, I have a slower car than you but I get my answers.

If it really is bothering you just PM Amanda to get a name change.
I don't think that ppl are giving you chit b/c of your age, tho I haven't seen your other threads.

To answer your original post, that situation would be a kill. You were winning, and if he wasn't gaining on you, then yes its a kill. Not your fault that a car in front of you forced you to slow down.

I think a kill is when you are winning, and you don't think the other person is gaining or you have put him away in your opinion, so you slow down. That would be a kill IMO.
