So Im avoiding traffic on the way home yesterday, and theres a 05+ Stang at a light, and I get green so I just fly through the intersection, and he starts up and comes too. About 2 miles down the road, he catches up, passes me, and then slows back down next to me. I look over and he is smiling and nods his head toward the road in front of us. I smile, thinking it could be maybe a close match, considering his car looked stock. So I nod back and hit it in 2nd gear. As I am about to slam into 3rd, guess who hears a mad supercharger whine, and sees the backend of a new mustang blur by me. Jesus. So that made me laugh, and the next light I pull next to him again and he smiles at me and says, "Whipple". I smiled and rolled up my window.

Later that night, Im leaving Best Buy, and theres a GTO, I believe it was one of the 5.7, not the 6.0. It was getting dark, but he was pacing next to me a lot. We get out onto the street and he lets into it in the middle of an intersection. Seeing as how were on the bridge to get onto the fwy, and noone's around, I give chase. So its about a 300 degree turn under the bridge to get on the fwy, and he thought he was haulin' ***. I was right on his bumper(Thank you Eibach). The curve straightens out, and we both let into the throttle, he changes lanes into the slow lane and I stay in the entry lane. We were about even most of the way, then he started to weave through traffic and he lost speed. Finally I kill it at about 120, and cruise at about 80, and he comes up behind me, flashes his lights and exits the fwy. As soon as he gets off, BLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!! A riced out looking 350Z comes flying out of nowhere and cuts me off and I can see the passenger acting like they just won a race. I dont race things that I dont respect. Sorry fellas.

I didnt say I didnt respect the car, the drivers looked like a couple of d-bags. My car's got full boltons+exhaust, nothing too crazy, which is why I post these stories. Im blown away with the performance of my car, and this is before I have intstalled my h/c/i and rollerrockers.

Update on the 350z- I saw the car the other day in Westlake, parked and drove by during the day, it had pretty cheap looking bodykit parts on it, and it had decals all over it with a fart can (rice)

 

I respect the 350z, it would be nice if the drivers I have run into didn't think it was God of the streets though, but thats what some people say about Mustang guys so what can ya do.
