haha thats not a surprise. a pt cruiser is the slowest car i've ever seen run at the track. consistant 21.xx's. the only other car i've ever seen in that ballpark is the new bugs which are 19-20.xx's. pathetic... even the scion xA's and xB's are faster

all modding aside just remember the turbo models are the same thing as an SRT4, only heavier

 

Was it the turbo model you seen run? The reason I ask is I've never seen a cruiser at the track but would expect the turbo model to do ok considering it has the same motor as the SRT-4. Of course it's sattled with alot more weight. Has anyone seen a turo PT run?

 

nah, definately n/a. whats really sad is that those n/a 4 bangs only get 23mpg on the highway.

making fun of malibu LT's is like making fun of a kid with down syndrome.... what I find funny out of all this is the right trim PT cruiser would run with a 4.0L stock for stock with mod for mod going to the econo boxand a malibu with an SS on the side of it will also run with a 4.0L [&:]

 

I wasn't making fun of him, I was actually quite impressed because of the consistancy. He got pretty high in the eliminations.

 

I have-about two weeks ago. He was turbo (I checked cause I've been wondering) he ran mid 15's most of the night. I did not check to see if it was an auto or 5spd, pretty sure that would make a difference.
