Default G Tech performance meters

How accurate are these things. Man, I know there's many factors playing but I have a nice streatch of road just outside my house. Hooked this thing up and boy was I disappointed. It said 14.5 @ 99MPH. Does that sound right. I have a "06 Gt auto with just about every option available Also running JLT II w\ Brenspeed 93 tune

The old one is terrible... it was normally off 2~3 tenths and 6~9mph depending on how my car launched (that was using it while going down the track against the real timers)... always seemed to be generous on mph and slow on the ET.

Newest model is pretty close 1~2 tenths and within 3mph from what I hear.

Yea, that sounds pretty far off.

If you had a bone stock 99-04 GT *are you sure you were driving the right car...* then it'd be right on I'd say.

I've heard the same thing as said above. Some of the new ones have been pretty accurate at the track compared to what the timers were saying.

I'd like to borrow/use one sometime to see how things work on them.

I suppose that if you spun a TON, perhaps the ET was close, but the trap would still be better than 99.

Yeah, that's why I thought I'd ask. Something doesn't add up.
