Default 1/4 mile times!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey everyone out there, this is my first post to the street stripthread. I was wondering with all the mods that I have what do you think that my quarter mile time would be? Most of my mods are in my sig. I have around 270rwhp ona mustang dyno so I am guessing around 300wrhp on a dyno jet. Does anyone have any idea of what I might run? I have an auto. I have a tlok and all those goodies. Never had any traction problems either.[&:]

13.6 with the 20's. If you can launch and get some 17's with drag radials then I could see a high 12. Are you sure your HP #'s are correct? Seems kinda low even for a mustang dyno.

Yeah I know they seem low I don't know what the deal is. I always thought that they were low. Yeah I have the dyno sheet and everything. I dunno maybe the dyno they use is calibrated wrong. It could also be that my tune is conservative because it is also my daily driver so Im not sure.

that seems about right for a 4.0 as far as power....

13.6-13.8 on street tires..... my guess is your kinda heavy with your additional "show" mods...

How did that N/A 4.0 run a 13.8 then? If mine is supercharged shouldn't I have alot better time than he did? I dunno I guess weight could be a major factor in this but an N/A mustang vs. a H/O supercharged mustang? I just don't get it. Maybe my tune is crap I don't know.

I don't know all the 4.0 supercharger options, but i've seen dyno pulls on youtube of a 4.0 making 440rwhp at 14psi, was probably a turbo though.

weight is a huge factor! I know a few guys with Vortech 4.0s and they've run 13.3-13.8 some more modded then others. idk ur weight so its hard to say

thats chris' car ur talkin about im sure.

14psi procharger, ported heads, custom ground cams. he made 440rwhp on a superflo dyno (read higher than a dynojet usually) with a crazy correction factor since hes at over 5000ft in elevation.

You should be mid 13s with those wheels. Get some 17swith some sticky tires and you should be a 13 even. Let us know what happens!
