I got the blower off a car at a car lot that somone test drove and blew up.. It was a built bottom end car.. very nice.. too bad some idiot turned it too hard.

I have 4.10s ... I didn't shift into 5th I think I just pushed the clutch in... it was comin up on 6200 so I got out of it.. not sure if I coasted through or was already there..

I'm sort of curious as to what his short times were lol

the supra went:

60' 2.1
1/8 8.6
mph 91.25
1/4 12.8
mph 119.4
ROFL dammed supras.

Why was the MPH so much different with nearly identical slips?

edit: for that matter, how did your MPH increase, your 60' decrease, but you lost ET?

Also, remeber on your ETs that your going to cut a MUCH better 60' launching at the same RPM as you would have before the blower. don't go out and try a 5500 RPM dump the first time

I think the pass with the lower mph I went to shift to 5th and missed it and let it coast...

I noticed that too... I think the lower mph shows that I probably coasted through..

I'll try to post up some pictures of the time slips later today..

lol, I saw that supra's mph and thought the same thing........could say he fudged up the start, then it picked updown the track, but the 60's are nearly the same......who knows??? I only run 9.70's (1 9.58), but consistantly trap 77mph........but my 60's suck, so that pretty much explains that.......

Did you miss the 3-4 shift on the second run? I'm lost as to why you went from 2mph faster at the 1/8 to 3mph slower at the 1/4 (5mph swings don't *just happen*).
