Default lt1 vs 99+gt

headin out to funford earlier today. on colonial i see a blue gt get out in front of me. he starts jumping forward, revvin his exhaust ( loud as hell) possibly a loudmouth, really raspy. so i follow him for a bit, then traffic opens up and he guns it. i hold back. then he slows for me, we get next to each other, i tell him on 3 at 50.
we actually hit it from 45, he pulls out 2 or so feet, then i pull back even around 60, slowly pulling. then i hit 3rd and pulled a lil harder. had him at my rear bumper at 100. then stopped.
great thing about it was he had his gf, so only 1 passenger. i had just topped of my tank and had 4 people in the car!
great race, wont get another one like that for a while.
then on my way home i ran a 91 rs camaro from a light, put about 4 cars on him by 50. so i had my fun for a while.

haha. i heard another stang with magnapacks (first i heard was at a dyno day) that i was playing cat & mouse with. now THOSE both sounded raspy. the LM1s didn't sound raspy on my car, nor do they sound raspy on Acer's. oh well. noice kill.

i actually havent heard a mustang that sounded like that b4, so i was just assuming it was a loudmoth becuz of the raspyness. i wouldnt say he was very stock. he held his own better then any other 4.6 stang i have ran. couldn have been cuz of all the weight in the car, but who knows.
after we got done running, he asked " u going to the track?" i said yes. then i follow him in, and he bust a u-turn. so i couldnt find out what he had done.
on another note. i am taking a road trip to north dakota, sometime in the beggining of april to the middle. if any of you in my range want to meet up, and ur not to far off course. we can have a few runs
thanks for the replies guys

you'll win
just dont screw up ur shifts, and its all urs. go form a 40 roll and ull stomp him
actually find out what gears he has, if he says 3.23 go from 40. if he says 2.73, go from 50-55. but then let him call the next roll mph.
