Decent times, esp. for your first time at the track.

Congrats!
Glad you had a good time. Those are good numbers, expesially on stock tires.
Do you know when englishtown is closing for the winter?

Glad you finally tested her out John, I think Atco might be a little closer for you? Or maybe you're stuck in the middle, who knows. When you go a little more you are able to experiment with tire pressures, and RPM launches, to find out what works for you. Also, shift points are important. Shifting at 6k RPM and shifting at 6.5k RPM can be a big difference in times. That alone could drop your ET and raise your trap speeds.

All in all you had fun, and that's what it's all about. Some people go in there expecting to reach times other people have gotten, or they think just because of their list of mods that they can reach certain times... and in the end they get disappointed and think it's a waste of time.

Thanks guys, I would like to get to Atco before it closes, I know it can hook a little better with the proper launch, I spun a little at the line, my run before I was the first car after the lunch break, very cold & windy, the track was not warmed up & I spun through 3 gears then let off cause I was fish tailing bad, I didn't think I could spin that far with this car. A lot of people had trouble with traction, I beat alot of Saleen cars with street tires, the Saleen cars with drag radials were a different story. the blue JDM car pulled a 9.5 & carried the wheels 2 ft high till out past the trees. I don't know when they will stop me as I ran under the cutoff for a vert without a rollbar.

Yeah I was there too,

Best run of 12.67 @ 110 with a 2.04 60ft. This was with stree tires, full weight, and TCS on. My brother in law took a run inmy car too, forgot to turn TCS back on after the burnout, spun halfway down the track. Want to know how many pounds of rubber were on the back of my car after that?! I'll try to get the video of that one up soon, LOL!

BTW what's the best way to get the molten rubber off?

think I saw you there... spoiler delete?

Nice times it was a fun day all around! And the blue Saleen pulled a 9.85 on the last pass of the day!
