Not to get off topic but car will be gone this week, trading it for a 96 talon tsi awd, garret 50 trim, buscher dp, catback, tubular header, etc. etc. heavily modded. Maybe that will be a little quicker and give a GTO more of a challenge.

haha. I know, the gas mileage the mustang gets is horrible though. The talon won't be much better, but even a little better is better than how it is. I'll deffinately post up a better mod list once I recieve the car.

Not the place for a Talon, sorry [&o]

But I got it yesterday. Figured I'd post up the mods, It needs a tune really bad. Car is capable of around 350awhp.. like 300awhp on a conservative street tune.

- 96 tsi awd 5spd
- garrett 50 trim
- SAFC II
- Precision 680cc injectors
- Walboro 255 fuel pump
- FPR
- Tubular Exhaust Manifold
- ARP Head Studs
- All ACL Bearings
- Kevlar T-Belt and BS Belt
- Dejon Intake
- 3" Catback w/ 2.5" Testpipe

Only bad thing is boost is set at 9lbs till I pick up an UICP and 1g BOV.

Few Pictures.

Looks like a nice car. I like that it has the 1g Talon rims on it instead of the 2g. They look better, IMO. You def. need to up the boost though. It's running lower boost than the stock turbo right now.

Thanks man. Yeah, I agree I like these wheels better also. Yeah its running lower boost, but considering its a 50 trim running 9lbs and not a T25 it's probably equivalent to around 12ish on the T25 (Which is stock boost I believe)

Nice car man. Tell me that 50trim isn't being fed through the stock intercooler! I fit is, get a front mount on that ASAP! Should easily see 350awhp on that with a conservative street tune.

Yes stock side mount. haha. I'm so strapped for cash right now, I'm just trying to pick up a UICP and crushed 1g BOV for now. Oh and a ISC cause the idle is going nuts on this thing, 1k-3k rpm FTW

Don't crush the 1g Bov. You'll run into more problems then it is worth. I ran 22lbs of boost with my 50 trim on a 1g bov without crushing it just fine. I'd keep the boost conservative too (less then 15lbs) until you get a new intercooler on there. No worries though, even at 9lbs that 50trim is making far more power then a T 2 small at 17psi.

For your idle problem, check out this site. It should help you square that away. http://www.vfaq.com/mods/wayback/Bra...ine/surge.html
