Do you really need to powershift a 2000 mustanggt with shorty headers , k&n cold air intake and full exhuast to beat a 98 camaro 3.8 auto with just flowmasters. My friend wont race a cocky junior because hes worried about his clutch.

The Mustang will win, but only if he get some 4.30's, slicks, running 15 lbs. of boost, full drag suspension, and a tune for race gas. Other than that the Camaro will win.

.... it's a v6, you can shift as slow as you want, start in 2nd etc. and still win.
