Default GT s197 vs .....

Well I did a LOOTTT of driving today because I just got my car back. I filled up gas I had 228 Miles to Empty Im home with 139. Well to start It My brother was driving my car, anda 335i bmw tail gated us and kept reving at us, but couldnt race because of traffic then we got to a light but he made a left. Then I was going to my cousins house to Just hang out On the way An E46 M3 slows down for me to get next to him. So I turn of O/D drop it to 2nd got to his rear bumper he gased it a little , then i just dropped to first and floored it, I FLEW by him because I down shifted and gunned it and he floored it a little after I did, After I floored it I had to shift and When I shifted the car pushed me kinda forward. I took him pretty well but wasnt a good race and I know he couldnt drive for sh*t. He came beside me but didnt try me again. SoI got on the freeway I see a supercharged Saleen, VERRY NICE, He didnt wanna race and im not gonna bug the guy so I left him alone. Coming home I see an RSX not even a Type S revving at me. I go beside him I drop to 2nd he floors it so I down shift to 1st and floor it (i always go to second and wait to see if there gonna floor it so my engine doesnt sound like its gonna explode) and I just FLEWWW by him shifted to second and put about 3 cars on him by the half of 2nd then let off. Anyway it was a good day today. A lot of fun and a lot of gas. Thanks For Reading.

we gotta be careful with those bmw 335s at higher speeds. the 6 speeds have some ridiculous top end with their twin turbo set up. my brother has one and we always play around, those things pull very hard after 120+, my brother has hit over 140 in 4th gear. On the track though, I own him. No LSD and run flat tires make it extremely hard to launch well.

Nice runs man. But to tell you the truth, downshifting an auto like that is putting alot of pressure on the tranny and one day its gonna snap. Upshifting it from 1st to 2nd to 3rd and so forth is ok, but still isnt the best thing to do. Downshifting is a totally different thing and really shouldnt be done.

Nah man, it all depends on where you live. The population where I live is real close to 200k people, if you count the Soldiers here at Ft Campbell. When most of them are here and not deployed, you will get many races everynight, especially Friday and Saturday nights. I used to get anywhere from 3 to 4 races everynight back when I used to street race, but I dont do that much anymore. Right now most of the Soldiers are deployed, so not to many street racers out, but there are a few youngens like me who arent in the Military and loves to race.
