Good kill. You get a car for getting good grades? wonder if I can work out a deal for my kids like that.
My parents ran something like that in highschool. Remember the old ugly K cars? Well they changed it to the C car, If we got C's we drove that, and they got our car.

-Dan

P.S. (we because I have an older brother who drives a Camaro nice family rivalry we got going.)

Good kill!

You've got to understand losing to a Mustang sixxer is a slap in the face. People aren't used to them being fast. So now when you lose to one, it's like losing to a Chevy Chevette!

Way to put him in his place
S197 V6's are pretty quick for N/A car. With lot's o money can be made fast but should have just bought GT version if you are willing to spend a lot of money on mods. Crossfire's are pretty cool but isn't there an SRT-6 version that is pretty fast and cost 40K plus?
Right. I think your missing my point. Sixxers are known to be slow. Therefore the introduction of a fairly quick sixxer shocks people because they are used to mustang sixxers being absolute dogs......Hence the reason I said "People aren't used to them being fast".

Crossfire Srt6's are about as quick as a New Edge stang stock. Atleast that's what I thought if memory serves me right. But they are also supposed to have a track tested speed of 165MPH supposedly.

yeah the company my dad works for bought the car for me( more to it then that but too much to type). but as part of the deal i keep up in school(i have a 3.7gpa), i pay gas, my mods of course, and i pay inssurance. i also got a scholarship for college so it all evens out. i just hate it when kids are so cocky like that. i didnt know if i would beat him or not, those a quick cars but not for 32K base price. i just hate how when a kid gets his *** handed to him by a car that cost 20K he is such a dick about it. w/e i dont have anything to prove to him. i let him sobb over it.

when did that happen? LOL.

hahah dude now that im down in ga, they put in tech prep and the stuff is rediculasly easy. also the grading scale here is different so some of the b- that i had in MI are counted as b's and so on. they dont have the whole grade minus, and grade plus. it worked out really well. and now i have straight a's. im getting a scholarship to any ga school as long as i maintain at least a 3.2 and i had a 3.5 coming into school here and the straight a's helped alot. ill have my report card when i get back from MI.
