Your 0-60 doesn't look bad. I have a 93 tune, 3.73's, udp, water pump, flows, o/r h pipe, 18" wheels w/ 255's up front and 285's on the rear.

Without power braking, I datalogged a5.17

And uh, how can datalogging not be accurate? The program is taking the data from the cars computer in real time. I say its very accurate.

Datalogging info may be accurate as far as the time..the problem comes with road surface..you going uphill? downhill, etc...

Without the proper equipement and facility it's going to be hard to get something accurate.

Traction, elevation, incline, weather, and shift points all affect your 0-60 quite a bit.

My personal best is a 4.1x 0-60 time on surface streets, using the XCal3. That was at night and on sticky DRs though.

I think anything below a 5.2 0-60 is pretty quick. 4.xxx 0-60 is just that much better and so forth, but 60' is really where its at...

LOL. Yes. You got a USB cable with the Xcal2, or you should have. Load the live link software from the SCT CD onto your laptop. Now, hook the Xcal2 to the OBD2 connector as normal. Hook the USB to the XCal2 - it's a USB "B" connector on the bottom. It's that "other" USB connector - the sorta squarish one. Hook the other end to your laptop and pull up the live link software. Click the button under the word "File" at the top. It looks like a little graph. You can choose from hundreds of things to monitor. RPM and speed are under "misc". You'll get a realtime graph while you're driving. And you can save it and call it up again later.

BTW, when you save the data, the file it outputs is a CSV file, a "comma seperated variable" file. You can edit it with wordpad or some other text editor. For instance, to eliminate parts of the graph when you had it on but you don't want to see. You can even fake the numbers, LOL. Then you can open the resulting file with live link. Leave the line at the top with the variables, though. You can also open the file with Microsoft Excel.

Have fun.

With just a CAI and tune I ran 4.6 0-60 with a G-tech timer, it seems to be fairly accurate but could be a few tenths off. Usually I get 5.xx with a spinning launch and slightly sideways into second :\ I can't wait till I get better tires... I'm hoping with the 275 Nitto 555s I'm getting, I'll hook slightly better. But the stock tires I have now are worthless.

I have never tested mine, but If I have a DR and powerbrake, I am sure I could hit really sub 4's.

could you run my slip through your spread sheet? I haven't done any real 0-60 testing, but I think I could do it in 4 seconds flat with the right launch. Well, 0-58 in 4 seconds, not sure if I can hit 60 in second gear.

ORIGINAL: S8ER01Z

Keep in mind without the real deal test equiptment it's very hard to get an accurate 0 - 60 time.

I have a spreadsheet that does some fancy math and it's still not 100% accurate...

I only went 4.9 seconds 0 - 60 on my 13.1 pass using the spreadsheet and my timeslip.

Don't get me wrong...Xcalibrator maybe be more accurate the calculations I have (not sure)...just saying getting sub 5.0 seconds isn't exactly easy (even if you have a tune and CAI I don't think it would be)

Here's a really inaccurate 0-60 calculator using 1/8 mile times.

http://www.wallaceracing.com/0-60_equation.php

It gave me 3.56 seconds.
