my buddy has an evo 9 and has been wanting to race for a long time. as far as i kno all he has in an exhaust. i got 373, supercharged 6lbs, bbk shorties and flowmasters. im wondering what you think the out turn would be. i took an evo 8 with19lbs and some exhaust work. but it was from a roll. if i did it from a dig what do you guys think

 

I think if your car could run a low 12 and y'all race at the track where you could get traction with slicks, you'd have him. But those cars are sick from a dig on the street/strip. I've ridden in one with minor mods and a eclipse GSX with minor mods and they both launched extremely hard.

 

What do you have for suspension? Weight? could play a factor. You should be able to take him though.

 

i got the eibach drags front n rear..and strange 10 way adjustables..battery location...ill strip it down to save a few pounds if i have too lol

Don't go from a dig. I was in the car with my friend when he out launched a 5.0 w/ h/c/i and a 100 shot on slicks and skinnies.

what do evos run low 13's high twelves stock? and you have a stock mustang with 6 pounds if boost. the best you can proly do is low 13's with a good launch. unless you have other mods your not talking about you most likely get handled

 

hed be in the high12's even if he was just a stock car with a supercharger
