Default Vintage Vette Kill

So I was out with the wife running errands this afternoon and came across a clean green '63-'67 vette rag top driven by an older dude probably in his 50's. We met at stoplight and I threw a couple revs to get his attention.

He did not appear to pay much attention so I figured that he wasn't interested in beating on his car. Well, the light turned green and he hits it hardand I was more than happy to obilige.

Since i wasn't expecting himto playhe got a quick half car+but I quickly reeled him and puttwo to threecars on him beforng shutting down about half way through third.

We both slowed down and were door to door and he gave a big smile and weshared athumbs up. Glad to see a guy out there enjoying his ride instead of treating it like a permanentgarage show piece. My wife got a big kick out two grown men acting like kids. Just thought I'd share...

Nice kill. Besides the C6, that model has to be my favorite ever.

My wife says the same thing about being "like a kid". I reply by saying" you don't have enough testosterone to understand why full grown men race cars, and I don't have enough estrogen to understand the appeal of "reality" shows" Guys love competition........... period... How the hell do you think drinking games got started???

That's a lot of yearswith lots of possibledifferent motors. Even the fastest 67 427 with 500+ ponies only ran 5.4 0-60 in the books.

That was more likely due to their crappy bias ply old school tires.
