Ok, 330 Flywheel HP, convert it down, they still have more power to the wheels then a Mustang GT. What does that say? They will/are fast cars. I've seen two move out pretty well.

I know stock to stock the G35 will win -- no even trying to argue that point. You say a car has 330HP and automaticaly compare it to mine. I don't even think that the OP was talking in regard to a new one... was he?

Uhmm, the new the G35's aren't 330hp. They're 306hp just like the 350Z. They have the same engine as the new Z. The new G37 has 330hp. But it's only a coupe, and has the new 3.7 VQ37HR in it. Number wise- new G35's are good for high 13's, the new G37's for mid 13's. That's w/ a good driver......

The new 306 hp g35doesnt stand a chance. I raced my friends bmw 645 with my stang when it was on 17's and I killed it. I drove the new G35 and raced him in his 645 and we went dead even. As for the new 330hp g35 Sock Vs Stock Id say Its still a drivers race. If both have a good run Id give it to the Stang. The new ones are made extremly well, great car. But it doesnt have that high of rpms like an m3. and it has 270tq with as much weight.

Why do you always have to make an arguement when it comes to any thread concerning a 350Z or a G35??? Seriously???? A new G35 sedan if well-driven is capable of high 13's. A new S197 GT if well-driven is capable of mid 13's. That's not a very big difference. Esecp considering one is a luxury sedan, and the other a sports car. And the new G35 DOES NOT have 330hp. That's the new G37. Read.......
