Eh, they're just like foxbodies....slow as hell outta the factory, needs a great set of heads/cam/intake/bolt ons to make it run. Only, they're heavy. Puts down similar power.

hey einstein, no it's not.

the ford 302 isn't a true 5.0. Do the math.

302 cubic inches * 16.387 = 4948.874 cubic centimeters = (rounded up) 4.950 liters

Obsol3te used to even admit this in his signature.

A True 5.0 = 306 cubic inches

304 * 16.387 = 4981.648
305 * 16.387 = 4998.035
306 * 16.387 = 5014.422

Rounded up, sure. But they're not true 5.0s. And Chevy didn't call it a 5.0, they called it a 305 TBI.

Si if you look on the side of the 305 block you will see 5.0 cast into it. GM simply didnt put badges on the car to signify it was only a pos 5.0L 305. nobody was ever too thrilled about them.

You also might want to use correct math and figure displacement by bore and stroke instead of what they call them. Then what you are saying becomes more apparent.. Keep learning...

Who are you talking to? I have seen nitro since my last trip to the dentist (laughing gas).........

Oh yeah sorry for the confusion, I just assumed you would put 2 and 2 together. I said fbody stang, and as well as I said I wanted to put that engine in my car since it drops pretty well. I will be more specific from now on.........

And oh yeah a 14 by my mark is way better than a 16. It takes me 9-10 seconds to get going 60mph for Davey Crocket's sakes!

They had 5.0 on the badge on the back of the Camaro's. Some said 5.0 Liter Tuned Port Injection, the others said 5.7 Liter Tuned Port Injection.

if you had that .965L of displacement, yes it is a 5.0. But it's not truely 5 liters until somewhere between the 305-306 ci.
