So me and my friends are hangin out go to a few partys than decide to roll up to the local racer hangout (wendys)... just today my clutch started slipping, I banged 2nd and the revs shot up..but it wasnt to bad. My cars mods are, mac longtubes, hpipe no cats, catback, ported stock intake, c&l intake tube, mass air, 70mmtb, 3:73's. tremmec 3550 with pro-5.o...There wasnt much competition there, sum modded gti's and such.
Than a 97gt conv. pulls up and I hear the whine. He's like I heard ur **** is fast so im like ehhh its ok. Hes like wanna run..Im like I hear your supercharger man Im not gonna waste my time. Hes like nah I got a gear drive cam in it. I call bull**** and he says nah i got gears, a valve job and catback. I say pop ur hood and he like man lets just go. I called bull**** on the gear drive and said **** it lets go. Get out to the service road and have sum cars behind us stop traffic. We go on the 3 honk and I launch perfect and put 1/2 a car...hit 2nd and clutch doesnt grab..I let off clutch grabs and now were're even...hit 3rd solid... pulls a car on me and hit 4th pulls another car...so I lost by 2 cars.. I knew this thing was s/c'd. so on the way back I said bro I can't shift 2nd lets go from a roll. From a 30 roll in 2nd we go on 3 honk. we stay dead even till 4th were he pulls a car and stays there. Every1 goes back to wendys except him. There like yea hes got a vortech, catback and, headers thats it. He said he was gonna put 10 cars on u. I was like **** i knew it. Good race anyhow.

Who are we calling BS on? Cause i dont think that a bolt on Fox would even touch a s/c'd 4.6. Shoot...i've out-ran 5.0's with my 4.6 w/ full exhaust b/4 so i call BS.

I don't think so. I'm pretty sure those cars are absolute dogs, even with the blower. Quick heads/cam/intake swap with a blower, and THEN it'll run.

 

yea, what do they run stock? 15's easy. The car had 2ppl in it I was alone, and im not bsing at all. The thing sounded mean but looked like absolute crap.

 

I'd buy that story. Who was that kid that had a blown 96 or something and went 14.1 with it. He had it in his sig. I used to make fun on him all the time.
