Default Me Vs. 05+ GT

How would i do against a new gt stock ofcource.. i have a CAI, SCT2, Drag radials and 4.10's. I drive a 2001 Bullitt.. also when i was stock with no Mods i beat a 02 gt with exhaust and 3.73's was a guy from this forum.. so are gears really better ? or are they just better on the track for sum reason and not the street. i beat him from a roll and a dig..

You will probably be able to keep up at least.

I say driver's race w/ the edge to you from a dig, and edge to the S197 from a roll......

If the S197 spins, you'll get him.
If he doesn't spin, it'll prob be even.
From a roll, I might give the edge to the S197 due to a better top end, although your 4.10s will help you turn up faster.

I guess its a driver's race/ / /

I agree with the above---race one and find out[8D]

With 4.10's and drag radials you should be able to get him easily out of the hole, but I bet he would start to pull after that. I agree with the other posts about the S197 having the advantage from a roll.

The following assumes same trans type and equal drivers.

From a Dig:
You should beat him by at least 3/10 in a 1/8 mi.

From Roll:
4.10's may help or hurt depending on speed of roll. He may be able to go from 1st/2ndwhile you have to use 2nd/3rd.
DR's will only help if you have traction issues on Real Street Tires at that speed.

So based on your stats you only have CAI/Tune for additional HP production?
Im guessing that makes you equivalent to a NE GT with CAI/Tune/MAF/TB/UI?

If so I was trapping 102-103 mph the same week a 3.73 car was trapping 104 mph.
However I believe he had at least an ORH as well. Without the ORH I call it dead even if your tune is good.

PS I outran the above car by 0.5 seconds in the 1/4 in my stock S197 but it wasnt the car (He cut a 2.2 60' vs my 1.9).

You would take it down in the 1/4 and it would start to walk after that.
