I've had my car at the track 3times so far and have been knocking at the 1.9 60' zone but could not do it. Until today, on my 3rd pass of the day i went a 1.988 60' on stock tires. Other mustang forums said i could not do it,a few said I could on this forum. I think I could go low 1.9 or maybe a high 1.8 To bad it was on a bracket race and had to get of the gas. I went a 13.88@84mph. killed him on the tree. Then it rained and could not race anymore, I guess that 13.5 pass don't want to come today.

I don't know why people think it's impossible on street tires. I'm doing it but i do have some help with gears. I really think that it just takes a lot of practice. I went from running 2.1 to running mid 1.9's on the same set up. The only changes that where made were in my head. It just takes time to learn the car and hit that thin line bwteen a hard launch and spinnin the tires. I'm looking for some 1.8's on wednesday. Everyone tells me that I can't do it. we will see.

 

I pulled a 1.86 last weekend on BFG's. When I get my adjustable struts im hoping for a low 1.8 or high 1.7.
