The fact that the Veyron can hit 250+ yet is still as luxurious as a Bentley, is easy enough to drive for almost anyone to take to 250, and is a well handling car; makes it "better" than the Aero TT.

I could drive the Veyron everyday and it would be completely civilized. I'd like to see that done with the Aero. Not to mention, there are already privately owned Veyron's, try to find someone that actually ownes this Shelby other than the factory.

 

I still couldnt get to 257mph with that "stupidly fast" and "ugly" car. Nope, not even if I could buy it for $100 bucks. What I couldnt buy is the 3rd part to that equation......

i tell you what if im going 250mph then i'm not really concerned with looks on the inside i promise. and i bet i get better mpg than yout too. oh and i would be getting to 250mph with half the motor you have.

the Ultimate Aero TT is a little to similar to a Lamborghini or McLaren. i would much rather the enjoyment of driving the Veyron. When the Veyron first came out,the designer of the McLaren F1, Gordon Murray said, "The most pointless exercise on the planet has got to be this four-wheel-drive 1000 horsepower Bugatti. I think it’s incredibly childish this thing people have about just one element—top speed, standing kilometre or 0-60. It’s about as narrow minded as you can get as a car designer to pick on one element. It’s like saying we’re going to beat the original Mini because we’re going to make a car 10mph faster on its top speed—but it's two foot longer and 200 kilos heavier. That’s not car designing—that just reeks of a company who are paranoid."

Be that as it may, it still has nowhere near the technology in it as the Veyron. This things just looks like a poorly assembled kit car. There's no class, no elegance, so soul. It's just a body w/ a really powerful engine designed solely to reach ridiculous speeds. What's impressive about that????? The thing has to be worthless on a road-course, not to mention on the street. So the car is capable of 257 mph. So??? How many of it's owners will take the car past 200??? Probably not many. My whole point is all the real engineering aspects went into accomplishing a rather pointless goal. At least the Veyron is a well-rounded car. And like I said, I hate the Veyron, but it's a more impressive piece of machinery.....

I've seen a few Veyrons in person now, and if you ever have the chance to see one in person you will realize that picture do not do this car justice. It's simply breath taking.
