Default Posche Boxter

This is just for my curiosity but with the mods in my sig any boxter should be able to whip me pretty badly correct.

I only ask cause a Boxter lined up at a light with me one day and got rev happy but backed way off when I returned the favor

did it have painted calipers and an S on the back?

these are 3.2L H6 cars that can acheive high 13-low 14 second rides and can trap about 100MPH

the 2.7L would still pull you nicely through the gears

I'm tempted to say if it was a 2.5L it would be alot closer than you think... I personally think it would still pull, but not alot

A 2.5 you could prolly take. A 2.7 would prolly take you. And the 3.2 and 3.4 Boxster S both would put a whoopin on you.....

Unfortunately I don't really know porches that well so I didn't think to look. I just braced for a good launch and hoped to not look retarded

I don't know much about the Boxsters, but they're not that fast. I know a stock S197 GT can lay a whooping on them, but I don't know a whole lot about sixxers

1997 2.5L= 14.5 @ 96

2.5L Boxster > S197 V6
S197 GT > 2.7L Boxster
S197 GT = 3.2S Boxster (Traps 103 mph)
CAI/Tune GT = 3.4S Boxster (Traps 107 mph).

exactly what i said

all of them will walk the OP.... but the 2.5 will prove a close race that's for sure

You had better do a little research and bench racing on Boxter S. In straight 1/4 a mildly tuned S197 stands a very good chance if not a outright win, but in twisties well that's a whole different story..........I'm not a big fan of the "Poor Man's" Porsche anyway
