he deffinatly would have stomped me being a 13 second car the wrx is also all wheel drive however being he had his girl with him and he was trying to show off he ran into the *** end of a chevy crew cab....funny thing is i wasnt gonna race him i knew he would take me..why would i bother? last years version was 300 hp with all wheel drive 0 sliping and my car is like 260 and the traction control dont do much for grip if you ask me.

What yr is your stang. I have taken them before and I have a 96. If you have a 99+ you have more hp stock. It all depends on the driver in my opinion. Where I am, guys w/ their gf show off and normally F_ckup bad. (It is fine to show off for gf but it does happen)Don't be afraid to race and if u r beat, tell them good race. Just my 0.02.

The WRX has ALWAYS had 227 hp since the 2002 model year. He's a 14 second car stock, and if you're stock with a 99+ GT it would have been a drivers race.
I would give him the edge from a dig, and the edge to you from a roll. If you're talking about the STi, yeah he would have romped all over you.
