Ok, im going to try and get a camera to record it but not 100% sure. Anyways, my friend is coming to visit me. He has always had the faster car growing up. Now he has a 4cyl 02-03 Toyota Celica GTS. He has a short shifter, cold air intake, and maby a turbo.

I have my 94 gt vert. complete tune up was done with msd parts, I have a K&N cold air intake, and straight pipes. Now who do you think is going to win?

Im praying he dont have his turbo on yet, which I dont think he does, but I finally want to beat him. I can launch great the only problem is my shifter is so damn big I shift slow.

How fast are those celicas? I would think I could beat a 4cyl nearly stock.

Either way he will give you a good run for your money, and if he is turboed he is going to kick your ***

it will be close with out a turbo

if he has it on i bet money you will lose unless he dont know how to race or some thing goes wrong with his car

thoes celicas are fast little cars i use to have one and i beat a stock mustang gt with mine by 3 car lengths and i only had an intake and high flow exhaust

but i dont think he knew how to race

Well if he manages to beat you, atleast you have a better looking car. Those Celica's are ugly as sh*t. Not only that, I havea hard time believeing those cars even remotely quick, I used to pound the crap out of them in my T-Bird all the time, those and sunfires/cavis.. for some reason those people in those cars have this need to constantly try to race people.

Don't they run mid to low 15's


A well driven sn95 5.0 coupe is a mid high 14 second car, an auto convertable is a low mid 15 car

i have put a hurting on some gts celica's in my day. i think you got this one. it will be close though. both cars are mid to low 15 second cars

i have a 5 speed...hence why i said shift in my sentence. He has a 5 speed as well. But he just got the car a few months ago so maby he wont be that fast.

I cant let a 4cyl rice whoop v8 american power. I might have to win by california pit.

if he has a turbo, he is going to destroy you...unless the turbo is sitting in a box in the trunk.

if its not boosted, it would be lucky to run in the low 15s, but a stock 94 vert isnt going to be much faster than that...
