Well.

I finally did it.

I took my STOCK 04 Cobra and put on a 3.0 pulley and tuned it with a SCT tuner.

My stock dyno was 399.8 Max power and 371.3 Max torque.

That's right.

Almost 400 stock.

For all you nay-sayers out there, it's very possible.

I ended up with 437.9 HP and 438.6 Torque.

It was dynoed on a Dyno Jet dyno.

I thought the dyno jet dynos were true to their numbers and themustang dyno numbers were garbage?

And no set times yet.

 

no..the dyno jet is the "friendlier" of the two for big numbers...

 

Nice numbers. I dont think you will find many that will despute was a Cobra makes at the tires... it's only 5 years after the fact and those that have a clue know. The ones that don't have a clue never will.

 

Even if the dyno numbers are inflated, it's still more than the factory's scrawny 390bhp rating.
