To make a long story short.
On the way home from the track.
Rich kids in a Lexus GS430 start talking trash.
I raced him from about 50 to 110 on an empty highway.
Seeing how I had just installed the nitrous I'm addicted so I sprayed on him.
Pulled about a car on him.

I recently started racing so I don't know if I did well or actually emberassed my self.[:@]


Got home and looked at the specs & this is what I came up with.
Since you guys have more experience could you please advise on how I did?

Sounds to me like you did pretty decent, but I don't know really. I actually want to know what you ran at the track.

Thing is I didn't go to the track to run...
I just went to drop off some race fuel for my friend.
I live like 10 min away from a new 1/8 track out here so thats where everyone hangs out on the weekends.

 

why are you only spraying a 50 shot for?

 

I was gonna go for a 75 shot.
But the shop didn't have the jets.
So I got to wait till tomorrow.
& I'm not so sure how much higher I want to go on a stock motor?

Are you an auto or 5spd? I would imagaine your making around 225ish RWHP depending on tranny. Probably good for some mid-low 14 second runs. Thats purley specualtion, not based on any personal experiences.

Would you happen to know how many more horses to the wheels from the 50 to a 75 shot?

 

I am not sure how much the v6's can take, the gt's are usually good up to 125.....but that might be a bit too much for a 3.8

 

Yea I was thinking the same.
But to be safe I'll just stay at 75.
I've been contemplating on swapping for a 4.6 but then I also heard If I use that $ I could easily build up the 3.8.
Any advice?

 

That's a good kill imo. Rich kids talking trash in a brand new lexus? Who would have thought. A 6 with a little juice taking a new v8 Lex, that's good.
