Impala Kills Z06!!
This contest happened this afternoon!
The Vette tried to run over the Impala, but ended up running under it instead!
The Impala got some real air time before crashing back to earth.
On the basis of money spent on this "race" compared to return, I think Impala wins!

maybe i missed something and ignore me if i did.....but was this during a street race??? if so........DAAMMNNNNNNNN thats too bad! for the vette anyway. seems like the impala will be getting PAID son!

1. The wheel design. Exclusive to the C5 Z06
2. The rear brake ducts-Exclusive to the z06
3. It's a fixed roof coupe. There were a few base model coupes with the fixed roof option, but not since 1999. All C5 Z06s were fixed roof coupes
4. The engine cover is red. Symbolic of the LS6-Exclusive to the Z06. The LS1 has a black cover.

Yea, I think the Corvette was racing, but the Impala was not!The tow truck guy said that this was the second time he has had to load that sameZ06 after an accident...
I was thinking that this might be the last ride for the Corvette, but from the front edge of the doors back it is virtually undamaged.
I am sure it would take a lot of dough to "total" the Vette, so I am thinking it will be back after a $30,000 or $40,000 repair job.... anda fewmonths "in rehab".
It is a cryin shame ain't it!
