I still dont know how you ran an 11.4? I have similar power numbers and cut the same 60 ft times and I managed a best of 11.88 @ 118
I was trapping 118 when I dynoed in the 350's. The difference could be inthe dyno we used. Many guys with 400+ HP on this particular dyno are running between 10.8 and 11.2. Someone up in Norwalk, OH last season with only 432 whp ran 10.82. Heck, Buschur's black drag car ran 8's and was only dynoing in the 700's on their dyno.I know it couldn't be my driving skills because I suck. I shift like grandma and launch like a turtle. Weather conditions could have also made a difference. The day I rantwo 11.4 passes with traps of122+, it was only 45 degrees with 0 humidity. This was also before my SS O2 housing install, new BOV and retune. I was only around 378. I'm hoping now to be able to run very low 11's while trapping 123+ this season where I'm at now. I didn't pick up much HP but I picked about about 31 pds of torque.

Here's a a vid of me running high 11's against an LS1 swap rx7. This day it was in the 90's with a heck of a lot humidity. At this point, I think I was dynoing somewhere in the 340s-350s (Can't quite remember)This was before I had my FP 20LT-Ginstalled. http://videos.streetfire.net/video/b...ee01729f75.htm

Also, my signature time/trap are old but the dyno # is updated. Need to get to the track for some better times!

Well, take him to the track, race the bestthree out of five and see who breaks first, somehow I think the odds might be in your favor.

That video you posted is exactly what I would expect. Similar power levels, similar 60s, should equal similar times. I'm not calling you a liar because anything can happen but. Using the old drag race math that it takes an adition 15 horsepower to reduce your quarter e.t by a 10th. You'd need an aditional 60 horsepower to cut off the amount of time it would take to get you down to 11.4. It sounds to me like your dyno numbers are extremely low. Your high trap speed would also indicate more horsepower than 370 to 380 HP.

Well, due to the fact that we only have a 1/8 track around here, my best times last season was 7.901 @89mph with a 1.712 60ft on 9.5 lbs of boost. Since then, I've added stage 3 comp cams, gone to 11.5 psiand a few other odds & ends. I'm hoping get a few other goodies installed as well as losing a few lbsbefore the tracks reopen.

Do I expect to win---Not really. If he can't launch/powershift like a pro--possibly. At least he won't steal kick on me 2nd gear WOTat 20mph sucks.

Nice run. On a 1/8 mile you stand no chance buddy. Not with an Evo like that. 1/4mile would be a better race.

Im not sure I really agree. Most Evos I see dont 60' all that well for their power. Not compared to a Mustang on Stickies.
Its not unusual for a high 11 Mustang to cut a 1.60. I have seen some really well set-up 11 second Mustangs that could cut 1.4's on Mickey ET Street Radials.

That video I posted, I was only dynoing in the 340's not to mention it was hot as heck that day (90's).

Hey, I completely understand what your saying. It makes sense. All I'm saying is the dyno I used is known to be very low reading. So, my 400whp is probably more compared to other dynos. Just to give you an idea, I typically trap around 95mph in the 1/8 mile. So, I agree with you, I probably have more power then what my signature says but in my defense, I list what the dyno said and nothing less or nothing more. I've seen a lot of people claim as much power as me and trap a lot lower. IMO, trap speed is the real indicator of power, not dyno #'s. I probably have around 440 or so at the wheels based on my trap speed, but I only post what the print out said. It's all good. I can post a slip if you want, it's no big deal.

You're good ****. And I agree, I've always believed trap #'s to be more indicative of HP than dyno #'s but we'll probably bothget roasted for that comment...
