Good run, man. I would guess you could dip into the high 13's, as well.
Not trying to argue with you but I'm curious. Maybe my logic on drag racing is skewed, which would make sense why a few people have butted heads with me over times. If the car he raced was a 13.2 1/4 mile car and he was only 2 feet (not 2 cars) behind him............how is that considered a half second or more slower?

Going at almost 100 miles per hour a 2 ft difference + the length of the whole camaro to be even would be maybe .2-.3 tenths at the most right?

Again, I'm not trying to debate this with you, I'm seriously trying to understand where the logic behind high 13's is?
Because the Cobra is a 240RWHP carw/4.10's. In a street race, stuff like R/T matters, the OP said he had the jump and the SS ending up coming back and pullled ahead by 80ish. Makes perfect sense to me. The LS1 would have continued to pull, but it was a short race, 1/8 mile at the most.

BlueBeast a stock 5.0 Cobra will Dyno 235ish RWHP.

* Edit: Also, just because the SS ran a best of 13.2 doesn't meanit does it everytime. I am guessing the SS was an auto. 5spd w/4.10 v. Auto w/3.42's in a short race where R/T matters a lot, the deeper geared cars has an advantage.

Ok so why are you pissing and moaning about my post then? An Ls1 will trap 85 or 86 miles an hour thru the 1/8.A high 13 low 14 second car will usally trap in the 82 mile per hour range. Thats way more that 2 feet.
hahah wow...... It easily could be 2 feet. That high 13 low 14 traps 82 mph doesnt mean ****.
Of course it doesn't mean sh*t to you. Your busy playing street racer with your buddy cody and dont have a clue what your talking about.

The Cobra got a good launch. It sounds like the SS was easing by him fairly steadily. Soundslike a street race to me.

Your absolutely right there are many fastors. And driver error was probably the biggest factor. Were talking about a low (LS1)13 second car on average against a (1994 Cobra)low 14 second car on average. Now maybe your car is a high 13 second car with gears but. Come on. Thats still 5 car lenths in an 1/8 mile race.
