I just don't see a beating like you guys are saying. The op has alot of mods to to get those 4.10s to the ground. We all know he has a 13.0 car with just the Tune and intake. Add up the rest of his mods and I say he is moving out pretty good, especially from a dig. Stall or not, I say the OP will take him off the line. Unless they are racing past a full 1/4 mile, it's going to be closer than you guys think. This is just my opinion and in no way am I saying the WS6 is not a fast caror will lose, I just think it'll be a good, close race. Stalls are pointless without DRs,so all that mod is going to do is cause the T/A to spin his *** off and lose, if he tries to use it.
I agree about the DR's, but if the WS6 has them (and it's just dumb for it not to) the Stang is toast. Why do I say this? Because I know first hand what a bolt on/stalled LS1 wil do. The Stang in question is not a low 12 car, the WS6 is (with traction of course)

Who puts a stall in their car and doesn't put any type of sticky tire on it?[&:]That is really counterproductive. I have a stock stall (and gears) and I still need drag radialsto keep from screeching loudly and slowly from the line.

it should be a good race with the determining factor being the launch on the street. I do see the fbody ahead by a car and a half.

I'm in agreement with you on the DRs. Trust me, like you, I've been there too. Stalled LS1 with no Drags had me in the mid-upper 12s knowing that tires would have got me a low-low 12.The OP didn't mention tires as a mod for this particular stalled WS6, which is the only reason I'm thinking he (the WS6) may have a tough time launching that thing compared to the OP's set-up. I'm going to put my $$ on the Stang out-launching him and the T/A catching him down the road.

Hahaha....I'm guilty. I was scaredof tiresbecause of the GM rear. I built mine twice without DRs. I still got a 1.75 60' due to the suspension stuff, but honestly the DRshad me a little nervous on the 7.5".

Oftentimes tires are not listed in mod lists because the mods that arelisted would seem to suggest that sticky tires are just a given. No one is going to install gears, a stall, engine work, etc. and then put Sumitomos on the back wheels.
BTW with my gear ratio I don't think I could break my rear diff on the motor even if I tried via a stall, stickier tiresand suspension work. Even on the bottle I think it could hold up, especially if I installed a TA cover with the preload bolts. I've seen 3.23 rears hold up to many 1.5 60 ft launches courtesy of a stall and a bottle.

Yea, but I have shatty luck[8D]
Seriously, I was having some bearing issues, etc. I never actually broke/cracked anything or chipped gears. I too have seen some serious 60' times on the stock rear, but the amount of problems I was having with the trans (replaced twice) and the rear diff stuff, I was just trying to play it safe.
I know what your saying though, and agree. They can hold up,Iwas just getting a little paranoid with the troubles I was having.
