full boltons should do it unless the termie is a convt. then it may take a pully swap

 

I drove an autols2 gto just like two days ago, and I was extremly dissapointed. I thought it would be much much faster. My brother in law purchased the car and said it was just amazingfast. He went as far as to say he would race my fox with me on nitrous and whatever tire I wanted for 500 bucks. I drove it and polietly told him I didn't want to race, to avoid problems with my wife getting mad at me. For the dollar amount he paid for that car I expected more in every way... I know there's some goat guys on here and I'm not trying to dis. Very nice cars just not what i expected.

 

A stock LS2 Vette? Not much, just sticky tires and maybe an air intake.

This would seem to suggest that you can find a better interior, amenities, and horsepower (400)in other cars in that price range, high $20k/low $30k. I am interested to hear what those other cars are.
And before you say it no, the Mustang GT does not have a comparable interior or engine. Not knocking it, just saying...

 

you can get kenne bell cobras in the high 20s!

 

around here low mileage 05/06's are going to low 20's..the auto's can be impressive with a few mods and tune TM sucks in them

 

a full bolt on temi includes a pully swapand with those mods a temi would beat a c5zo6 in most cases

 

IMO a Cobra would need CAI,catback w/ mid-pipe to run even with a LS2 C6 in a drag race....However, A Cobra is doomed on the open highway without a pulley....These two cars are only separated by .3/3mph trapps in a quartermile drag race provided both are stock with equal drivers.....Which in most cases is very unlikely!!!

 

What are average 1/4 mile times for a stock C5?

 

12.9-13.3 depending on options.....

 

Ok, my aunt & her husband have a C5. Wasn't sure how bad they would beat me in my Stang if I drove it up to visit them this spring and made a friendly challenge.
