Was just wondering with the mods listed in my sig will I have a chance against a Dodge Chager with the 5.7l hemi. I think the only mod that he has is headers.

 

If its not the SRT-8 you should get him but not by much....

 

You will beat him with ease. Stock you would still beat a charger unless its a srt-8. Chargers are slow boats.

 

stock for stock a new edge 4.6L will take a charger 5.7L like it's a walk in the park

sure it has a **** ton of power. but the 2.82 final drive carrying 4,100lbs makes for a soupy start... I've seen video's of these chargers hitting 15's due to a bad start

I'd say you wouldtake it even if you weren't modded

 

Ive also seen them do 13.9 @ 101 mph stock.
I think you should beat him but it will be harder from a roll.

Of courrse if he has headers you have to wonder about a Tune and SRT Gears.

i raced my friends daytona charger off launch and i lost. twice of launch, once of roll.. we went off 20mph roll and he gunned it a good second before me, but i hit 50-60i shut down his pulling and we were even but he was 2-3 cars ahead so im guessing if we went off together i might have won. Off launch, i brake torque launched and ended up lsoing both. As soon as we hit 30 he would start passing me. I think if i left it in D i would have done better
