Killed a 99 SS
I have a 1998 V6 5spd with a few things, mostly suspension.
I was sitting at a stop light listening to some Against Me waiting for the light to turn green. While I am waiting a 99 SS pulls up. I knew the kid and he is a dumb****. He starts revving it up and sounding real cool.
Well the light turns green and I take off at a low 1800rpm's, didn't squeal or anything. lol I get up to about 60 and wonder how he could have passed me without me even seeing him or how he isn't even at the next stop light he is so fast. I then look in my rear view mirror and he is just taking off from the stop light... He killed it. lmao
I felt a little bit bad for him but then I remembered who it was. He then tried to pull up next to me to race me again but I was done. I didn't want to embarrass him another time, I figured my awesome driving skills didn't need to be put to the test again.

I suppose no one gets the idea of a joke or comedy.
Did my story come off like I was being serious in anyway? I am pretty sure I put quite a bit of sarcasm into it.
