Forcasting for 12's
if you don't shatter the 8.8 high 11s should not be a problem. Your looking at close to 400 WHP at 10 PSI. You will easily make 400 if you have a good tune and a midpipe (and maybe LTs) to let it breath a bit more. If you make over 400 WHP 11s are easily possible on slicks with a 1.7 60' time.
I ran 12.40s with a 1.9 60' and 420 WHP on a ****ty track....

Now that I think more about it, maybe 11s are a bit optimistic when you consider that the car in questionwould be hard-pressed to run 13.9 when stock. But to think that running anywhere in the 12s with that blower isn't in the bag? Even a 12.9? You should shatter that barrier with ease.

Get rid of the Sportline springs, get upper/lower CA's and some sticky tires.

Amen to that! The sportlines are not drag racing springs. Use the stockers. However, with slicks of the correct size and good driving an 11 second pass is attainable for sure. Don't give up on your first trip to the track with the new set up. Inmy own expereince it takes several passes to get the correct shifting and driving ona set up. Be patient and tkae notes while at the track. Check your car after each pass, check your tires and etc.
If you haven't looked at or started a clutch rebuild, you need to.

Only if you have traction problems would you consider replacing them.
Im sure if I say 11's are real close, I'll get some flack. But honestly, 4.11's would help you out more, have drag radials as well as a good and experienced driver mod you'll be in low 12's. My car is pretty even with a stock GT500. And I got an automatic to push it through. Low 12's are pretty much guaranteed, unless you have a bad driver mod.
