This was a creepy thing that happend while I was at the track (Willow Springs). THere was a short straightaway where I hit about 5500rpm in 3rd gear (sorry.. i didn't catch the speed). THe strange thing was.. the steering wheel LOCKED for about 1 second when I tried to turn it slightly. This happened to me twice and it's really scary since i"m coming up on a chicane and i need the wheel the make minor adjustments immediately after the straightaway.

Can anybody shed light on why this happened?[&:]
