So I was leaving work and rolling through a gas station parking lot when I noticed a trans am pulling out of the gas station too. I was hoping that they would want to run but turned out it was a girl driving so it was a no go. Well while I was following her this black eclipse comes from out of nowhere and blows by us on a 40mph road. Well I catch him at a redlight right by the highway so I roll down my window and tell him about our local car club and told him I would run him and that since he would probably beat me I would have a 03 cobra for him to race this friday night if he came out to car club. He was like thats cool. The whole time his passenger has this big **** eatin grin on his face.

So we get on the feeder road and doing 20mph. The guy acted like he wanted me to go whenever so my bumper was around his wheel well when I punched it. Spun through first and got a little tire spin in 2nd. By the time I went to 3rd I already had about 2-3 cars. I let out soon into 4th(a modest 3 cars ahead) since he wasnt catching me and my car pulls to the left at high speeds cause I need an alignment. I tried to wave him down to follow me so I could see what he had done but he busted a left when I went right. I dont think ill see him at car club.

 

I guess you couldn't get his mods list. That sucks. Good kill none the less. My 2nd race ever in the teg was against an Eclipse GST. He jumped me but I eventually realed him back in and passed him.

 

haha nice **** man. i have yet to race a turbo eclipse but im definitely looking forward to it.

 

GOOD KILL. The Turbo Ecl. Stock are HIGH14's....(good Driver) my friend modded his to be a 13 second one but the motor blew and he got a wrx... but they can easily be modded to be respectable...

 

BTW my car isnt really stock. Its full bolt ons except u/d pulleys and short throw which have been sitting in my room for about 6 months now. and I have 4.10s so I guess that was my counter to his turbo.

 

Nice run. The eclipse would need quite a bit to keep up with you. With full bolt-ons and 4.10's I would assume you are a high 12 sec car? Eclipse not going to touch that without a turbo swap/intercooler, standard bolt ons, and some fuel mods.

 

Does the OP have a GT or V6?

If it's a V6, I retract my previous statement. The Eclipse probably was close to stock. I assumed he had the V8.
