Interesting comparison of an LS3 C6 and a C6Z06
ORIGINAL: C6 VETTE
So you don't think that a car with 115 more horsepower weighing 250lbs more wont beat a C6Z06 by more than 4 tenths? Can I have some of what your smokin'...

Were do you get this from, do you believe a zr1 will be 1 second faster. No way in hell, will if you take two people who can't drive then maybe. But two good drives no way will it be a full second. I bet stock for stock it wont be5 tenth's.

Well, my car is around 530HP? What's your point? Not to mention, I've launched my car on stock tires, well, to be more accurate, on Blizzaks, and it was fine. In case you did not know, Z06's and Zr1's are equipped with near DR quality, extreme high performance, and fat tires I might add. so, traction, should not be too much of a problem. Either way, they tested it 0-6 in 3.6 seconds. What kind of 60ft would that be good for, around 1.7? Way better then a Z in stock form if you ask me...

so whats your 1/4 rogers? I see alot bs. 1.5 second difference of 70hp crank hp and 100 pounds of weight on street on street tires... bs
the internet definition of "stock" varies widely, especially according to liars

less aggressive torque management. The LS2 and LS3 both have pretty heavy torque management. The fast guys are cutting 1.7 or better 60's in the C6 Z06 on factory tires. It takes a real driver to get a 1.9 out of an LS3.
A better comparison is the C5 Z06 vs C6 Z06 and the 95 hp difference. I will let Bicketybam relate the C5 Z06 record (I forget) but Im pretty sure it was in the 11's.
