I don't get that mentality. If a worked Mustang smoked me, I'd have a BIGGER smile on my face and I would try to flag the guy over so I could check out his car. You make it sound like I should go home and hit my Z06 with a hammer or try to turn it back in to the dealer. Please.

I love modded cars that people have put a lot of time and work into, especially Mustangs. I would be genuinely happy for the guy.

 

I would second that.. good death methinks.. I'd have to agree with Red too.. It's fun going up against something you know you'll probably lose to.. I remember being brain-dead enough to try a Ligenfelter Z06 from a dig once.. LOL I wasn't even in 3rd gear before the guy had five lengths on me. Would also agree with Bickety.. why be a dick when somebody's got something fast enough to beat you? They obviously put a lot of time and effort, not to mention $$$ into getting it that way.. I love to see worked up stangs..

 

nice death.... been there done that from a roll...... now just gotta get my clutch/gears broken in and make it a bit closer race!!!

actually, i knew i was going to lose...but thats not the point....was fun to just run with another v8. Never really done it...ive destroyed 4 bangers and some 6's before...just thought it would be fun to run against something i KNEWi was going to lose to. Was fun...makes me want a vette.

With the work you just had done and the zero experience I have at the track, I bet you'd beat me. It would be fun. I know I'd be chasing you the whole way down the track!
