Default 11.8s in a 335i

From the IS forums:

http://s57.photobucket.com/albums/g2...Fastest335.flv

Quick summary: JB2HHR (chip), UR downpipes, 'dyno glory' intake, ~98 octane, Kosei K1 rims w/ ET Streets, stock catback/2nd cats and no weight reduction

Wow. 11s with basically just a race tune, sticky tires and 1 part of the exhaust replaced. Now that the performance figures for the 135i are out, I can see that thing being even MORE of a monster since it weighs less! It already has a really impressive 1/4 time. Too bad it will be a really fast chick car!!

C&D Performance Numbers for the new 135i:
Curb weight: 3420 lb

C/D TEST RESULTS:
Zero to 60 mph: 4.7 sec
Zero to 100 mph: 11.5 sec
Zero to 140 mph: 25.6 sec
Street start, 5–60 mph: 5.5 sec
Standing ¼-mile: 13.3 sec @ 106 mph
Top speed (governor limited): 143 mph
Braking, 70–0 mph: 157 ft
Roadholding, 328-ft-dia skidpad: 0.89 g

Nice numbers. I'll have to pass this on to my brother. His best in the stock 335i coupe is 13.28 @ 103.7.

Just the new ones. Extracting performance from the 135 & 335 will be so much simplier and cheaperbecause of the twin turbo set-up. I have a buddy that's installing a supercharger on his M3 right now and it's a 15 grand set-up with install. With the 335i all the usual turbo tricks should work very well.
