Default Chirping Gears

I was on the way home from the gym today, and was in a particular mood to do some 0-60 pulls. For the first time ever, i chirped into 3rd gear . Not an amazing story but it was awesome to do.

I remember the first time I chirped third in my auto... scared the hell out of me... 3rd gear hit at like 80mph and I heard the tires and feel a slight wiggle...ugh..no thanks.

I guess its cool to know you can do it but at the same time it makes me uneasy knowing that I can...

Powershifting? I've heard several New Edge GT's do at at the local 1/8th mile track, sounds cool, especially after you bark 2nd.

^ I understand, I've never pwr. shifted mine, too much stress on it. Beside I don't like ragged out cars.

I usually got third everytime in mine when it was stock. I figured it would hit harder after the tune and stuff. Now it just slips the belt when i shift to thrid really hard.

there is a club of nothing but stick shift racers. Some of these are 8 second cars and when they shift, they pull wheelies even in 3rd gear. Takes a big set to drive one of these monsters
