I would think the weight difference between the two cars would make up for the relatively small difference in HP. THe termie is no lean machine but the gt500's weight is almost scary.

I always thought it was 15 Hp per 100 pounds but your right. Theres something to be said for having the lighter car. I hear alot of guys put down cars like the GT500 or the Charger SRT-8 as being to heavy! They say very nice cars but there land yachts. These same guys will crack wise about SRT-4s only having power front windows in the front and the lack of power seats etc. You can have the navigation and all the power goodies but your going to need more HP to push all that stuff around!

You have to remember that GT500s and SRT8s are the top of the pile when it comes to their perseptive "catagories", the SRT4s are more of the light weight bang for your buck cars.
