I know ATCO ran their Corvette vs GTO event and between the new pavement at the beginning of the track and the 40* weather, it was pretty dicey. Check out this C6 Z06: Z06 almost gets wrecked

It'll probably be slick for the first month or so til they get some rubber laided down on the new tarmac. crazy video. Wonder how he would have explained that to the insurance company?

 

smash out the window, get a tow truck to tow it out into the country and call in a stolen car......from what I hear

 

First, I'd say good save by BOTH drivers. That being said, the track shouldn't have been open. It's bad enough with the lack of rubber, but it was 40* out. That's a recipe for disaster. They should have had an EVO/STI event instead.
