The 98s were rated at 225, but I have heard both: that the problem was the heads, and I have heard the problem was the intake. Livernois offers a PI intake and adapter plate that claims to make your car equal performance-wise with PI cars. However, I know the intake ports on the NPI cars suck. Look at pictures of them, it is ridiculous. The NPI intake ports are circular with a tear drop shape for injectors, but the PI heads have a huge intake port that is completely open with the injector, which equals much better flow.

Did I say they weren't? I stated a proven fact... kind of like if I said there was a factory recall on the 99' vic motor for an intake problem that was restricting so much power you would have lost to a metro... so before you go on taking it to the next level and acting like that read the posts... and if you want to have a flame war with me I have AIM swells 123456 other then that act like a mustang guy and not a honda guy who has to defend his car...

Ford never had a recall on them or it wasn't bad enough that they had to recall it?
I am sure in 2 years they will say my 03 is being restricted because of something they always do don't they? I just don't know why they can't find and fix the damn problem...
I heard you can find 96-98 GT heads for cheep (I don't know what to consider cheep either) to correct the problem? (I think I am wrong about this but a buddy was telling me something)

its always something they do it to make someone else money yes it is more expensive to do mods on the 4.6 then the 5.0 but that goes back to every year something is better but didnt app. the your car is gay comment
For one I have a 5.0 and it is 10 years older then your damn car so I would really like it if I wasn't paying the same as you thats just a dumb comment... I sould be paying less due to the fact that it is 20 year old technology now...
Two stop being a damn ricer and accpet the fact that your car is slower due to ford making a mistake everyone else has... if you have a problem with my post don't start a flame just IM me it will be a lot better then doing this on here...
